Angela Muir Van Etten
As a dual citizen of New Zealand and the United States, Angela qualified as a lawyer in both countries and served as national president of both Little People organizations. At three-feet-four-inches, Angela has twice been awarded LPA’s highest honor, the Kitchens Meritorious Service Award. Angela and her husband married in 1981, and currently live in Stuart, Florida, where she serves as church clerk and teaches in AWANA, adult Sunday school, and Vacation Bible School.
Angela has been a legal writer and editor of law books for Thomson Reuters, a staff writer for the Christian Law Association, and a disability advocate for the Coalition for Independent Living Options. Angela has media and public speaking experience in local, regional, national, and international markets. TV icons such as Phil Donahue, Sally Jessy Raphael, and John Stossel all interviewed Angela during her mission to ban dwarf tossing as barroom entertainment.
